Antsirabe Thermal Baths

The region has long been a destination for thermal cures. During certain seasons, many Malagasy people visit to treat certain pathologies or simply undergo a rejuvenation treatment.

Thermal baths are set up in Betafo amidst nature with rudimentary facilities. They are frequented by the local population. You can visit them with a guide or with village welcome organizations (see village tourism).

In Antsirabe, the thermal center, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, has implemented a policy to welcome local or foreign tourists (development of dedicated spaces and reinforced hygiene controls).

The center also has a controlled swimming pool (water renewed every night) and a fitness room. You can register for cure programs from 1 to 5 days or benefit from à la carte treatments (baths, aqua gym, cardio training, massages with essential oils, poultices, percussion shower, jacuzzi, sauna).
